EDITOR:
I
have been following this year’s
Bernardsville Borough Council election
with much interest. In your editorial
last week you stated, “(Denis)
Dooley and (Charlotte) Foster emphasize
the need to bring fresh ideas to the
table.”
I have read their ads. What are these fresh ideas? There is no mention of them.
They say they will ask the “tough” questions. What are these questions?
Again, there is no mention of them.
One of their slogans is “vote for change.” In none of their communications
with the residents of Bernardsville have they made any definitive statements.
Platitudes sound good but Bernardsville residents need substance and action.
They only change they will bring will be a unilateral council and more of the
same, turning a deaf ear to the needs of residents. I want no more of the same
controlling group of people continuously deciding who can best represent the
citizens of Bernardsville.
I support Joe Rossi and John McCrossan. I’m voting “people affiliation’’ not “Party
affiliation.” I ask everyone to support the Bernardsville Independent Leadership
ticket on Nov. 8.
