BERNARDSVILLE – Registered borough Democrats are invited to attend a meeting of the Democratic County Committee of Bernardsville from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Basking Ridge Country Club, 185 Madisonville Road, Basking Ridge.

The goal of the committee is to provide Bernardsville voters with a choice in local elections and to provide a forum in which issues of importance to local Democrats can be heard and acted upon. Committee chairman and local district leaders will discuss strategies to energize the local Democratic Party and promote its involvement in local politics. Representatives from the upcoming state and county elections will also be on hand.

According to party organizers, there are close to 500 registered Democrats in town. Anyone who is unable to attend the meeting but would like more information can email the Democratic County Committee of Bernardsville at bernardsvilledemocrats@hotmail.com.
